What I do

I make bespoke soft furnishings to your specs: curtains, Roman blinds, smaller upholstery projects, loose covers, table cloths, cushions, bed surrounds, pelmets and headboards. I can recycle existing fabric/curtains and can make covered battens (a more traditional alternative to aluminium Roman blind tracks). I can order hardware if you specify your needs exactly. My qualifications are in soft furnishings: A Diploma from Master Soft Furnishers and a professional qualification from the Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers.

What I don’t do

I’m the last in the chain of your project process. It’s very important that any tracks and poles are installed before I come to measure on an initial visit. I don’t project manage. If you require help with installation of hardware, you’ll have to find a project manager / go on the internet to find an installer. I’m not an interior designer so the decision on the colour and material of the soft furnishings will have to be your own. I can’t tell you the composition of a material from a photo, nor the exact colour.

Initial visits and deliveries are local and wherever possible done by bicycle and trailer.

I pledge continuous improvement in ethical and sustainable practices, with a focus on learning from experiences and adapting to evolving challenges. 

Traceability and follow-up: the sources of my materials are documented. After delivery, I follow up with my clients.
